DHSS Aspire Ambassador

Ambassadors play a critical role in the support and delivery of DHSS’s culture transformation initiative, ASPIRE.  ASPIRE Ambassadors are subject matter experts on a local level (i.e., unit, bureau, division, etc.) who exude (or display) the following qualities or characteristics: 1) Authentic optimism for ASPIRE; 2) Role model for ASPIRE; 3) Help lead and support all ASPIRE initiatives; 4) Facilitates roundtable discussions and one-on-one conversations; 5) Help others individually identify and connect with ASPIRE; 6) Possesses a constant awareness that ASPIRE can mean different things to different people; 7) Helps keep ASPIRE “front and center” with others through self-awareness and the awareness of others; 8) Helps “connect the dots” between the current environment and initiatives on a daily basis; 9) Demonstrates how ASPIRE fits into everything we do; 10) Proactively leverage all available resources to support ASPIRE and work together; and 11) Maintains a personal development plan to continuously build and refine skillset and increasing the ability to teach and mentor others.
